Nick at Anastasia's Waukegan was so easy to work with on a family funeral gathering. I had so many compliments on the variety and quality of the buffet of Italian Beef and Baked Chicken with several other sides. Our 2 servers, Daylight and Sawyer were on top of the food and drinks at all times. We also had our own private room. I highly recommend Anastasia's Waukegan for any party.

The service was great. All the waiters and waitresses were very attentive and with a smile. The food was a more than expected. If you are really hungry then ok. But i would consider sharing. There was a table with flickering light bulb which should have been changed because that was very uncomfortable for anyone sitting around or under the light.

Nice pub to get drinks with friends/co-workers. Plenty of alcohol selection if you want to test the Waukegan/Gurnee law enforcement policy. Staff was courteous and friendly, they took care of us. Buffalo wings were hot n crispy and the thin crust pizza was fresh made to order. We did order two especial pizzas on 1/2 off Wednesday.

Came here with about 18 people. Glad we arrived early as it gets difficult to seat so many. We sat in the restaurant portion of this establishment. This location has 3 different parts, bar, patio and restaurant. They were quick to grab water and get us settled with soft drinks, pitchers of beers and water. For appetizers we orders mozzarella sticks and nachos platter without any meat. The nachos platter was a good selection to get 18 hungry people satisfied until our 2 large veggie pizzas, 2 cheese and 1 fresh jalapeño pizza arrived. All the pizzas looked great. The veggie pizza was excellent and the fresh jalapeño pizza speaks for itself! Great service for a party of 18. She did not leave out any of our requests for extra napkins to water to extra plates.

I've been to Anastasia's a number a times and they have consistently great food and usually pretty great service. They have two parts a bar area with high tops and a back patio and on the other side is more restaurant vibes and they offer a private event room to for renting. This time around went for a late lunch on a Sunday. I'm used to getting their pizza and wings because they are delicious (for the record their giardiniera is hot!) But this time around I chose the Italian Beef Sandwich and upgraded to seasoned fries. The person I went with got the gyro sandwich with regular fries. My Italian Beef sandwich was decent. I'm glad they put the au jus on the side so I could control how dipped I wanted my sandwich. The flavor of the au jus made the sandwich truly. The fries were delicious. I tried some of the gyro and tzaki sauce and I'll be coming back for that. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Overall I keep coming back, so that's a good thing. They are doing something right.

Visited Anastasia's while in town for a soccer tournament. Our group ate a team meal after the match. The staff was very accommodating, especially after calling the morning of to let them know our game time was changed and our group number increased from our initial conversation. Nick took care of our group of 38 people!! Our server was on top of everything and never let waters get low. Menu had a variety of options, even for the few picky eaters in the group and was tasty and came out hot! Great experience. Will remember this place next tournament!

5 stars for Anastasia's Restaurant. I ordered the Reuben sandwich via Uber Eats - it comes with a free side - I ordered the cottage cheese side. I thought that was really cool to see available on a menu as it's not a common side found. The Reuben was delicious, as was the cottage cheese- the cottage cheese portions were very generous as well. I received my order within 20 minutes of ordering they're very fast, I'd recommend this restaurant if you want some quick American fare and are in the area.

Excellent restaurant cum sports bar cum bongo place -- you name it ! The menu is elaborate as well - Taco, dinner specials, sandwiches, pizza, pasta - tons of choices. Freshly made and great taste. I went twice in two days - lunch and dinner. Ordered Mediterranean think crust pizza for two for lunch with a drink so it was half off due to Wednesday. It was very delectable! Took 20 minutes but was worth the wait. Spinach, feta cheese and really good ! French onion soup was just ok. For dinner next day, I tried dinner specials - Blackened Cod with house salad and calzone. Cod was very good ! Vegetarian Calzone Was good but very cheesy Appetizer - Saganaki -- flame broiled cheese with pitas .. bit salty bit but was ok with pita and house salad. Not really my kinda but I wanted to try out. They put the flame out on cheese at the table. I will definitely go to this place again .. opens at 6 am till 11pm .. tons of choices - good parking lot space and mostly was full .. but it's very spacious so it was not too hard to find the sitting place. Everything I tasted there was pretty good.

The stars are truly all for Niko. He was an incredible server. I mentioned how hungry I was and he said let's feed you then. He took time to go over the menu and made some excellent suggestions; seasoned fries like Checkers! I loved all the Greek menu items!! I felt revived after my meal. I did find it irritating that there's a thumbs up and thumbs down for server's on digital tablet. It seems pretty irrelevant and does not benefit them. Management maybe you should review that feature until then patrons tip your servers at Anastasia's well!!
